-Toronto placed Brian Tallet on the DL, likely eliminating the posibility of the lefty being traded. As reported last night, Adam Eaton has been sent to the minors.
-MLB.com's Lyle Spencer thinks that the Rays should go after Adrian Beltre, Arthur Rhodes, and Erik Bedard.
-The Providence Journal reports that Boston has talked to the Mets, Phillies, Dodgers, and Diamondbacks about Manny Ramirez.
-The Boston Globe reports that the Cardinals have the best shot at getting AJ Burnett. The Tigers could go after Jack Taschner and Scott Schowenweiss.
-Newsday reports that the asking price is too high on Raul Ibanez, the Yanks and Mariners are playing chicken, and talks between the Yankees and Rangers for a Catcher went nowhere.
Blogspot Bonus- I disagree on Everett being a good fit for the Dodgers, because the guy can barely hit. They already have a slick fielding SS who can't hit in Angel Berroa.
