The Mariners' demands are too high for both Jarrod Washburn and Raul Ibanez, wh Arizona could be interested in but their need is diminished. The Braves also offered Will Ohman to the Angels, but no dice.

-The Detroit Free Press says that the Tigers probably won't deal for another relief pitcher, which would mean that the Twins would be in the lead for LaTroy Hawkins.
