Despite 31 from Kirk Hinrich, the Suns continued the woes of the Bulls, 88-77 at the United Center. Amare Stoudamire scored 24 for Phoenix. In a fantastic game, a Hedo Turkoglu three at the buzzer gave Orlando a stunning 96-93 victory over Boston at Amway Arena. Hedo scored 27 in the win, its 2nd over the Celtics this season. The Celts were without Kevin Garnett in the game, and were led by the 24 and 9 rebounds from Paul Pierce. Kobe Bryant had 33 points, 12 boards, and 6 assists, but his Lakers were bested by LeBron James' 41 as the Cavs defeated LA at the Staples Center 98-95. In OT at the Bradley Center, the Bucks edged the Wizards 105-102 behind 25 from Mo Williams and 22 from Charlie Bell. Caron Butler had 40 points, 8 boards, 5 assists, and 5 steals but Washington lost to a Milwaukee team that played without Michael Redd. It was the Jeffersons night at the Target Center as Minnesota's Al scored 40 points while grabbing 19 rebounds, and Richard of New Jersey had 35 points and 7 rebounds. A balanced Jazz attack led them to a nice road win against Houston 97-89 at the Toyota Center. Williams, Kirilenko, and Korver each had 17 in the win. Tracy McGrady led the Rockets with 21 points and 9 assists who continue to be without Yao Ming. Andris Biedrins had 11 points and a league season high 26 rebounds as Golden State rallied past New York 106-104. Nate Robinson had 22 off the bench for New York. News and Rumors

-According to Marc Stein of ESPN among other sources, Chris Webber is expected to sign with the Warriros tomorrow. Webber has appeared to have reconciled his relationship with head coach Don Nelson, and would give Golden State a much needed big body in the middle to put next to Biedrins.
-Here's another reason why you shoud be careful what you wish for. Scott Skiles was fired as Bulls head coach after he told management that the team needed a new voice. Team owner Jerry Reinsdorf proceeded to Donald Trump him on Christmas Eve. Ouch....
-The Grizzlies have announced that they will make the buyout of Damon Stoudamire official some time today.
-Rumors have started in the New York area about Jason Kidd's alleged trade request from his agent. Kidd says that it's news to him, but should we buy it?
-Sam Smith of the Chicago Tribune says that the Wizards should trade Gilbert Arenas to the Clippers for Elton Brand. This would definitely be in the first chapter on the book entitled "How To Alienate the Wizards fanbase In Two Weeks." The patent is pending on the book title.
-The NY Daily News reports that all is quiet with the Knicks but two weeks ago he tried dealing Zach Randolph to the Bucks for a package including Charlie Villanueva. The team has also been looking to deal Jared Jeffries. The sooner the better for my tastes.
-Will the Celtics be able to sign Stoudamire. The Spurs, Suns, Raptors, and Nuggets are all interested according to the Boston Herald.
