- Atlanta may be more desperate to acquire Mark Teixeira then the Dodgers, who have James Loney. The Rangers want to make room for Jason Botts, and Sammy Sosa could go to the Mets. The Yankees and Tigers are interested in Eric Gagne. Kenny Lofton could go to Cleveland for a low level minor leaguer. Brad Wilkerson could go to the Padres. The Dodgers could acquire Joaquin Benoit.
