While the Rockies and Red Sox get ready for the World Series, let's take a look at the matchups.
Offense- Both teams have very good offenses, but the edge goes to the Red Sox because of Ortiz and Manny.
Starting Pitching- The Rockies have pitched really well throughout this unbelievable stretch, but once again the Red Sox edge them out because of two big game pitchers; Beckett and Schilling.
Relief Pitching- Although they don't have the best closer in the series, I'd rather have Corpas and Co. who have a better all aroung bullpen than the Sox. The only guys I trust in the Red Sox bullpen are Okajima and Papelbon.
Defense- Lead by rookie Troy Tulowitzki, the Rockies are baseballs best defense.
Although both teams are evenly matched, the Red Sox will win in 7, with Josh Beckett winning the world series MVP.
